24 Aug Sammamish Valley Fall Harvest Celebration – 2021
Celebrate the season by exploring the beautiful Sammamish Valley during our annual Fall Harvest Celebration. Stop by the local farm stands, markets and stores that support local agriculture in our beautiful Sammamish Valley. Home base for this event will be at 21 Acres in Woodinville. We’re happy to gather again “in-person.” Come visit with us there, following all current masking requirements, of course, and meet with local farmers and others in support of our local agricultural businesses.
Visit additional locations also during the Valley Celebration, and check out each link listed here to see what activities might be planned and information on open days/hours of business. We encourage you to purchase local, fresh, pesticide free food that’s grown right in our own neighborhoods. You’ll not only enjoy the beauty as you wander around the Valley, you’ll learn about our environmentally sustainable agriculture community.
All ages are welcome and activities are free. Plan to join our agricultural community this day, and throughout the fall and winter, as we strive to ensure a long-term growing season, bringing peace, health and happiness to all of our friends and neighbors during this unprecedented time.
The Fall Harvest Celebration is presented by SVA with support from the King County CSA Program and Olympic Nursery, Inc.
Sammamish Valley Alliance (SVA) has been working in the Valley for many years with a dedicated group of farmers and business owners to enrich the public’s knowledge regarding local, sustainable, small-farm agriculture. Sammamish Valley Celebrations, a project of SVA, are held in spring, summer and fall and have looked a bit different in 2020 & 2021 due to circumstances surrounding the current pandemic and Covid-19 restrictions. Created to share the natural beauty of the valley with friends, neighbors, the community and visitors alike, SVA will support our local small farms and businesses through virtual or in-person channels, depending on CDC recommendations for public gatherings at the time of each event.
